Plant Your SIM Packaging

Transform your SIM packaging into a patch of native flowers! 🌱

What You'll Need

  • Your Meaningful Planet SIM packaging (the seed paper part)
  • A small pot or garden space
  • Potting soil or garden soil
  • Water
  • Sunlight

Step-by-Step Instructions

  1. Prepare your pot or garden space: Fill with soil and make sure it's well-draining.
  2. Place the seed paper: Lay your SIM packaging seed paper on top of the soil.
  3. Cover lightly: Sprinkle a thin layer of soil over the seed paper (about 1/4 inch).
  4. Water gently: Keep the soil moist but not waterlogged.
  5. Place in sunlight: Put your pot in a sunny spot or plant in a sunny garden area.
  6. Wait and watch: Seeds should germinate within 1-2 weeks!

What Will Grow?

Your seed paper contains a mix of native UK wildflower seeds, including:

  • Cornflower (Centaurea cyanus)
  • Poppy (Papaver rhoeas)
  • Oxeye Daisy (Leucanthemum vulgare)
  • And other beautiful native species!

Tips for Success

  • Plant in spring or early summer for best results
  • Keep soil consistently moist during germination
  • Once established, wildflowers are quite drought-tolerant
  • Deadhead spent flowers to encourage more blooms
  • Leave some flowers to go to seed for next year's growth
